MARKETING AUTOMATION

Marketing automation in Bangladesh: a practical workflow guide

Marketing automation is most useful when it removes a specific delay or manual handoff in the customer journey. Start with one repeatable process, keep a person responsible for the outcome and improve the workflow using real results.

01

Choose one bottleneck first

List the repeated steps between a new enquiry and the next meaningful action. Examples include sending a lead to the correct team, creating a CRM task, acknowledging a request or preparing a routine report. Pick a process that happens often and has a clear owner.

02

Map the data and handoffs

Write down where an enquiry starts, which details the next person needs, where the record should live and what should happen when information is missing. Collect only details needed for the workflow, and identify who can view or update them.

03

Automate predictable steps with clear safeguards

Connect the form, CRM and notification tools so information moves without duplicate manual entry. Add checks for failed delivery, duplicate records and missing fields. Keep human review for decisions that need context, and make it possible to pause or correct an automation.

04

Review results before expanding

Compare the workflow before and after launch using response delay, completion rate, qualified conversations and avoidable errors. Ask the team whether the process is easier to manage. Fix weak steps before connecting more channels or increasing message frequency.
